Murat Birsel was born in Kar\u015f\u0131yaka, Izmir in 1960. His father is a law professor, and his mother is an archaeologist. He is also related to the poet and writer Salah Birsel.<\/p>\n

Murat Birsel completed his primary education at Ankara Primary School and his high school education at Saint Joseph and Izmir Atat\u00fcrk High School. He graduated from the Department of Public Administration at 9 Eyl\u00fcl University. Murat Birsel Career<\/h2>\n

Murat Birsel’s profession and career have mostly been in journalism and media. He worked as a reporter and foreign news editor for Yeni As\u0131r newspaper in 1980, and then worked for Rapor Gazetesi. He completed his master’s degree in International Relations in the Political Science department at the University of North Texas between 1984-87. From 1988-1991, he worked as an advisor to the General Director of TRT and to Adnan Kahveci. In 1991, he became the News Director for Sabah newspaper and later the Ankara Representative. He was involved in the establishment of ATV News Center and NTV. He appeared on TV screens with the programs “G\u00fcndemdekiler” and “Murat Birsel’le 5 \u00c7ay\u0131” on NTV. Additionally, Murat Birsel has taught courses at ODT\u00dc.<\/p>\n
