Gülay Özdem is a presenter who was born on May 15, 1977, in Istanbul, Turkey. She studied mechanical engineering at 9 Eylül University but did not complete her degree. While she was studying at the university, she worked for a radio station in Izmir. Later, popular radio stations discovered her, and she became a radio presenter for important stations such as Best FM, Star FM, and Radyo Mega, among others.
After her success on radio programs, Gülay Özdem appeared on television screens. She hosted poetry programs on MMC TV and Tatlıses TV. Later, she hosted a game show on Cine5 and ATV, and presented news on Kanal24.
As a result of these roles, she transferred to NTV in 2009 and began presenting the evening news. She left this role towards the end of October 2010. She then hosted a program called “1 Gün” for 2 days on Habertürk.
